Our Mobile Vet Clinic Hits the Road

Victor Vet's mobile clinic has been on the road for a few weeks servicing clients across the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Come along on a visit with Dr Mick to see what's involved.

What does a home visit look like?

Dr Mick recently visited clients Steele and Sadie at their house. Both were very comfortable climbing into the specially fitted-out van. Dr Mick was able to complete vaccinations, conduct checks of some suspect lumps and do a nail clip - all from the comfort of Steele & Sadie's driveway.

Most medical problems and routine procedures can be conducted in the mobile vet clinic during a home visit. However, surgical procedures need to be conducted in our clinic in Victor Harbor.

Who does the mobile vet service suit?

Victor Vet's mobile vet clinic is for any of our patients, but we recommend it for:

  • Pets who find clinic visits stressful or anxiety inducing
  • Busy households where a home visit makes your life easier
  • Older pets or multi-pet families
  • Euthenasia – to say goodbye to your pet in the comfort of your own home

Our mobile vet clinic services the Victor Harbor region, Port Elliot, Middleton, Goolwa, Hindmarsh Island and Mt Compass. With trips to Kangaroo Island in the plans for the not too distant future.
